From Diane "Looking for a fun, easy social knitting project this summer? It’s a slippery slope, but I’m jumping on the happy skinny scarf bandwagon, featuring slip stitches!
Only a few stitches make up this amusing skinny. It’s knit flat on a diagonal and defined by selvage stitch edges.
I’m intrigued by how different the slip stitches appear when they are worked from the front or back. Two different views, the same basic technique. All the slip stitches will show on the front side of the work.
It’s a quick knit and lots of fun for warm weather knitting. It’s long enough to double wrap or cowl in the front and it’s skinny - a little more than 2” wide. The colors are amazing, but the stitch textures would also pop with a solid or tonal yarn. I hope you enjoy it. Thanks!"
