Owl-Be-Yours Pincushion with Marie Mayhew

Knit and felt an owl pincushion just in time for Valentine’s Day!

Make a sweet miniature valentine complete with hand-made envelope and tuck it behind his back. The felted owl measures about 4-inch/10-cm tall. A great gift for all those pincushion friends of yours.

Two Part Class: First class, we will begin knitting the owl and learn the basics of how to felt. Second class, come with the owl felted and ready to embellish. Marie will demonstrate how to do basic needle felting for the beak and finish the eyes. In addition, we will create a special heart valentine (including an envelope) to tuck in your owl’s wings.
