Students will learn the following techniques:

Cables, Cluster Stitches, Colorwork, Needle Felt steeking, Sweater construction, Button hole and buttonhole placement.

Prerequisites include:

Sweater experience, colorwork experience, some familiarity with steeking, picking up stitches, finishing.

Materials not included in class price.

Materials Needed:

·         The following non-superwash yarn quantities:

o   C1 (MC) 950 – 1986 yards

o   C2 190 to 360 yards

o   C3 230 to 480 yards

o   C4 190 to 360 yards

·         Notions and Needles:

o   US 4 and US 6 circular, 16, 22, 32 and 37 depending on gauge

o   Cable Needle

o   Stitch Markers

o   Tapestry Needle

o   8 to 12 Buttons

o   Needle Felter and Awl

o   Sharp Scissors

Pre-work:  Bring a gauge swatch that includes colorwork, and solid knit in the round with measurements blocked and unblocked
