Knit Lab is a technique class where we will focus on one topic. This is a demonstration and hands on class.
Homework is simple swatches so that you have something to practice on.
Bring your basic knitting supplies kit – scissors, pencil, note pad, darning needle, crochet hook or Fix It Tool, stitch holders, removable stitch markers, etc.
Description: This class will cover some basics in fixing mistakes.
Class Type: Demonstration and hands on
Techniques covered: fixing dropped stitch in stockinette stitch and garter stitch; correcting a stitch that was purled and should have been knit; fixing ribbing; life lines; tinking
Prerequisites: Must know how to knit and purl; tell the difference between the RS/WS of work; able to identify an error Supply List: Worsted Weight yarn in medium to light color preferably in a couple different balls
US# 8 needles circ/dpn/straight which ever style you have
fix it tool
removable marker
scissors, paper and pencil/pen for taking notes
Homework/Pre-work: 3 swatches will be used in class; it is nice to have extras if you have time to make them
