Hoppity-Rabbit Pin Cushion with Marie Mayhew
April is the perfect month for a litter of freshly knit rabbits!
Knit and felt a little rabbit pincushion to celebrate the anticipation of spring! The felted rabbit measures about 5-inches tall, including the ears with arms ready for holding a bunch of carrots pins.
A great gift for all those pincushion friends of yours.
Marie Mayhew will be teaching her pattern in a two-part class.
First class, we will begin knitting the rabbit and learn the basics of how to felt. Second class, come with the rabbit felted and ready to embellish. Marie will demonstrate simple needle felting techniques for the tail and embroidery.

Designer and teacher Elizabeth Vindedahl will be hosting a Sunday Studio at the shop on select dates. She is a master knitter, and a much loved teacher and coach.

Birds of a Feather Pincushion
May is the time for many backyard birds to begin building their nests. This little bird perched atop a spool, is doing just that! A quick and easy knit and felt project with simple embellishing techniques.
Knit and felt a bird pincushion to celebrate the anticipation of spring! The felted pincushion measures about 5-inch / 12.7 cm tall from the spool’s base to the top of the bird’s tail. Once felted and stuffed, both the spool and the bird are embellished, adding whimsical detailing using simple needle felting. A great gift for all those pincushion friends of yours.
