Kids Knit with Maggie
Learn to knit! A kids only class learning the basics of knitting. Kids will learn how to cast on, knit and bind off. There will be plenty of time to practice the knit stitch and fall in love with the craft. Supplies needed: One skein of Mega (many colors to choose from) to make this cowl and set of size 11 wooden needles.

Choose a kit from a large selection of colors. The kit includes the pattern, 40+ accent beads, 20 grams of a TOHO brand seed bead mix, floss threaders, 11+ yards of cotton fingering yarn and beading surface.

Knit Lab is Here! with Elizabeth Vindedahl
Knit Lab is a technique class where we will focus on one topic. This is a demonstration and hands on class.
Homework is simple swatches so that you have something to practice on.
Bring your basic knitting supplies kit – scissors, pencil, note pad, darning needle, crochet hook or Fix It Tool, stitch holders, removable stitch markers, etc.
Homework uses worsted weight yarn in a light to medium color
Size 8 knitting needles – straight, circular or DPNs – whichever you have
Swatches are done on separate balls of yarn
Prerequisite: must know how to knit and purl.

Queen Bee Hive Pincushionwith Marie Mayhew
Queen Bee-Hives are a sign of summer and all things warm and golden.
This beehive is where the Queen hangs her crown at the end of a buzzyday. Marie Mayhew will be teaching her June Pincushion pattern, a 4.5-inch beehive skep.
You will begin knitting your beehive with instructions for how to finish it up and felt it at home.
Marie will demonstrate how to do the basic needle felting for the door and show ways to add bling to your finished beehive skep.
