Owl-Be-Yours Pincushion with Marie Mayhew
Knit and felt an owl pincushion just in time for Valentine’s Day!
Make a sweet miniature valentine complete with hand-made envelope and tuck it
behind his back. The felted owl measures about 4-inch/10-cm tall. A great gift for all those pincushion friends of yours.
Two Part Class: First class, we will begin knitting the owl and learn the basics of
how to felt. Second class, come with the owl felted and ready to embellish.
Marie will demonstrate how to do basic needle felting for the beak and finish the eyes. In addition, we will create a special heart valentine (including an
envelope) to tuck in your owl’s wings.

Alpine Bloom Hat with Karen
Intrigued by color work? Have you done at least one small colorwork project and would like to tackle more? Then this class is for you. We will cover handling floats, keeping good tension and even fixing boo boo’s.
This Scandinavian-inspired floral design is a fun and striking knit! Knit in sport weight yarn, but you can play with fingering and DK as well (taking gauge into account) to make this a great pattern to knit again and again. This fun colorwork hat pattern is written for both child and adult sizes.

Jacky's Birthday Moebius Cowl with Diane

Diane wanted to knit a quick chunky cowl for her dear friend Jacky’s birthday, so she chose one hank of chunky yarn and finished it in an evening.
It’s a luxurious, warm cowl that is 7” wide x 26” in circumference and a very rewarding knit.The Moebius has a 180-degree twist, which is created at the special cast on, and join. Rounds of knitting grow from the center of the work to the outsides.
